What's in a name?

Simon has been sticking his nose in Cheryl's affairs, apparently during the X-factor auditions he told the audience that she would now be known as Cheryl Tweedy. All the lemmings in the audience took this as their cue to give around of applause. So what were they actually clapping the fact that she is divorced or the rebirth of girl power. Simon knows that Ashley will not like reading a story like this a few days before England's biggest game in four years. If England lose to the old enemy I hope Simon will cop for some of the flak.
