Why is Cheryl still getting flak

It would appear that whatever Cheryl does these days she cops for flak. On Sunday all the Cheryl did was support her act and she got booed for her efforts. Don't the public realise that Cheryl is just a small cog in the X-factor machine. Like everybody else on the show she takes all her orders from Simon.
